ABOUT SHEBUZZSOCCER
SheBuzz Soccer is a girls’ soccer initiative dedicated to creating opportunities through sport, confidence-building, education, and community engagement.
Founded by Ljiljana Stjepanović, a Physical Education Professor, UEFA Futsal Coach, and Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina #BeActive Ambassador, the project began in Srebrenica in 2013 with a simple mission: to give girls a place to play, learn, grow, and belong.
Today, SheBuzz Soccer combines local community impact with international experience, bringing together modern coaching methods, mentorship, and positive role models to help girls develop both on and off the field.
Through training sessions, tournaments, community events, and regional partnerships, participants improve their soccer skills while also developing teamwork, discipline, leadership, resilience, and self-confidence. Each program cycle engages 20–30 girls directly, while reaching hundreds more through schools, families, and community activities.
At SheBuzz Soccer, we believe that sport is more than a game—it is a powerful tool for personal growth, opportunity, and positive change.
Our mission is to empower girls through soccer and help them become confident, capable, and active leaders in their communities.
